Upper Extremity Prosthetics

For those with limb loss or limb difference, our goal with a prosthesis is to aide in returning function as well as independence to improve quality of life. We will review your unique goals, work environment and/or hobbies to help select the proper components of your prosthetic arm. For upper limb prosthetics, our clinicians work in conjunction with the experts at Ottobock to create a custom fitting socket and device. We see patients with all levels of limb loss and difference including at the shoulder, above the elbow, below the elbow, and partial hand.

Consultation

Upper extremity prostheses are very personal – the way it looks, functions, and fits is critical. Del Bianco P&O understands this and will meet with you to discuss and understand what you are looking for in your prosthesis.

Technology

Upper extremity prosthetics represent the pinnacle of research and technology. Prosthetic sockets interface and read electrical signals in the muscles and communicate with prosthetic hands, wrists, and elbows. Del Bianco Prosthetics and Orthotics is experienced with this technology and can help you reach your functional goals with your prosthesis.

Support

Only someone who has been there can really understand and relate to life with an upper extremity amputation. While we may not be able to perfectly relate, we do care, and we have helped many people navigate the changes and difficulties of living with an upper extremity amputation. We care and we can help.
