ABOUT US

Del Bianco Prosthetics and Orthotics is a locally owned and operated prosthetic and orthotic clinic with Wake County locations. We are committed to caring for our patients by providing superior prosthetic and orthotic services and helping them return to the lifestyle and activities they enjoy.

WHY WE RACE

This year we are giving all profits directly to The Move for Jenn Foundation, who offers grants in the form of activewear prosthetics to those who have suffered the loss of a limb to sarcoma or other affiliated diseases.  These sports prosthetics are not considered “medically necessary” by most insurance companies, so this foundation bridges the gap to allow amputees to get back to the physical activities they enjoyed prior to amputation.

FAQ

Is there a early packet pick up?
No. Packet and race numbers will be available starting 7:00am Saturday morning.

Can I run with headphones?
Yes!

Do I need any water?
We have a water stop and extra water bottles for runners.  We recommend you bring extra water for you and your guests to make sure you are comfortable and hydrated. We have some shade structures as well, but sunscreen is probably a good idea.

Can I use a stroller, walker or wheel chair?
Yes. The course, however, is not paved. It is graded grass and gravel/dirt with mild elevation changes. We have had runners push strollers in the past. This is up to your judgment.
